Goharnaz Masaeli
Born in Isfahan, Iran, 1980. Start learning and playing tonbak at age of 13 and tar age of 17.
Obtained a bachelor's degree in music from University of Art & Architecture. Exploring rhythm for children through tonbak and poetry .

Asana Borhan Azad
Born in Tehran in 1981, asana borhan azad was interested in music since childhood.
She beganstudying th setar when she was 14 years ; at the age of 16, she started her musical career and participated in different concerts and in musical parts of theatre festivals.
She entered music university and was studying setar with professor Mohammad Firouzi .
At that time , she also started to learn barbat(oud) with him and with professor Shahram Gholami.
Asana Azad is a member of the Tehran Conservatory of music under the direction of Parichehr Khaje.
She also studied musicology and pedagogical assistance to children with prof. Jalali.
Furthermore , she teaches at the institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and young Adults.
She works on music for theatre and she won the theatre musical competitions at the last international theatre festival of Tehran in 2006.
In 26 november 2007 , as a member of the orchestra “UNESCO” she participated in a concert organized in paris. Now, Asana Borhan Azad is a member of the orchestra “ UNESCO” in paris .

Asareh Shekarchi
Born in 1981 in Tehran, She started learning music at age 7. When she was 10 she started her “Tonbak” practice with late Dariush Zargari and in Fajr Music festival of 1995 and 1996 she received the second prize. In 1998 she started to learn “Kamancheh” under the guidance of her father, Master Ali Akbar Shekarchi and in 2000 she entered Tehran’s University of Fine Arts. She received the first prize for “Radif Navazi” at Student Music Festival in 2002. She has played in many concerts as a duet player with her father in cities such as Tehran, Rasht, Shiraz, Semnan, Damghan, Arak, Ahvaz and countries such Switzerland, France and Ital.She is now teaching “Tonbak” in Arash Music Institute.

7- آشنایی با تکنیک های صداسازی در آوازهای ایرانی، زیر نظر خانم مهربانو
Mehrbanu was born in 1979 in Tehran, Iran. Mehrbanu began singing when she was eight and her music teacher was Mrs. Mehrali. Turning 14, she was introduced to Mrs. Sima Bina to learn folkloric music and songs.
It was in the year 1999 that she began practicing Radif near her other music instructor Mr. Mohsen Keramati. Simultaneously and before the decease of Dr. Hossein Omumi, Mehrbanu attended his classes, and learned how to harmonize music and poets. She is currently studying Isfahan singing near her instructor Asghar Shah-Zeidi. Being specially interested in the old songs, Mehrbanu is presently studying old songs near Mohammad-reza Lotfi. Mehrbanu is presently honored to be a student of the renowned Iranian singer Mohammad Reza Shajarian. Due to some restrictions on women’s singing, the Saye-ye Mehr that is the first independence work of Mehrbanu is recorded and released outside Iran.
